Go Shawty, It’s your birthday

Yep, today is my birthday! twenty-five years ago on what I’m sure was a very hot day in Atlanta my wonderful mom gave birth to me. Thanks for bringing me into the world mom! So to celebrate the beginning of my mid-twenties, Jon, Erika, and I ventured to Atlanta to eat wonderful Southern food, dance, float, and visit a great couple.

During the day we floated down the Chatahoochie River, which was soooo much fun! we drank, laughed, and warned each other about the “ass-up” zones (where there were rocks!). Even our cooler had a raft, how awesome is that? we survived the ride with minimal sunburns and even a snake sighting! I was the only one who fell out of their raft by the way,

Then all the ladies got dolled up at MAC Cosmetics…..love it! and we headed over to Two Urban Licks for some delicious food. Here I am below admiring my birthday cupcakes, so yummy!

After dinner we were super full but managed to drag ourselves to a nightclub for dancing. All in all it was a great night and a great way to ring in 25! what are some of y’all’s memories of birthday celebrations? Do you have any favorites?
