Today I received an e-mail update from NSCADU (my undergrad school) with updates on certain Alumni. Karen Konzuk (BFA 1997) came to NSCAD to study sculpture, but she took a jewelry course and found herself captivated by the medium. Konzuk now runs a jewelry design studio out of Calgary, Alberta called KONZUK. I already own one of her lovely designs, as she is the designer and maker of the NSCADU grad ring pictured below. I love how untraditional it looks and I feel proud to be a NSCAD grad whenever I wear it!
